North Shore Garbage provides simple, dependable household garbage pickup for homes between Nelson and Balfour, British Columbia.
What we collect
We collect ordinary household garbage every week.
Each bag can hold up to 75 litres and weigh up to 15 kilograms. Bags must be tied securely and kept in a sturdy outdoor garbage can with a secure lid.
We do not collect construction or renovation waste, hazardous materials, liquids, electronics, appliances, or oversized items.
Where we collect
North Shore Garbage is a new local company. Our first weekly route serves Nelson’s North Shore, from Nelson to Balfour.
We’re willing to serve other nearby communities where there is enough demand. If you live outside our current service area and would like weekly garbage pickup, let us know. Hearing from local residents will help us decide where to expand next.
When we collect
Pickup is every Tuesday. Starting the run at 8am.
How it works
Choose a one-bag or two-bag weekly plan. Leave your tied bags inside your outdoor garbage can at an agreed spot we can safely reach from the road or driveway.
We’ll be by Tuesday to collect them.
Customers supply their own outdoor garbage can.
